The DC panel is also called the DC power supply panel and the DC power distribution panel. It provides power for control loads, power loads, and DC accident lighting loads. It is an important choice for power plants, substations, hospitals, high-rise buildings, mines and many other places where electricity is used. The battery is an important part of the DC screen. The use of the battery is related to the use and life of the entire DC system. Please pay attention to the use:

Precautions for the use of the DC screen

   1. Before use, measure whether the cell voltages in the battery pack are basically the same. If the voltage difference exceeds ±, use a special charging device to recharge the cell battery before putting it into use, otherwise it will This may affect the service life of the battery or battery pack, and may also cause damage to the battery pack.

  2. Before powering on, you must check to make sure that all work is correct. When the DC power supply system is turned on, the charging device can be put into operation through automatic or manual control. There are three types of operation Status (ie main charge, equal charge, floating charge).

  3. Main charging status: Main charging means that the device charges the battery with constant current with the set 'charging current, The device automatically enters the constant voltage charging state, and the main charging ends at this time. This state is mainly used for the activation and initial charging of the battery.

  4. Equalizing charge state: Equalizing charge means that the device charges the battery at a constant current with the set 'charging current'. After the system has set the battery capacity, when the charging current ≥ and the current is maintained for 10 seconds, the system will switch to equal charging. You can also manually enter the equalizing procedure. After the equalization time is reached, the device will automatically switch to the floating state, so the equalization state has the function of constant current and voltage limiting.

  5. Floating charge state: Floating charge means that the device charges the battery with constant voltage (floating voltage value) in a constant voltage mode, so that the battery is always at full capacity. When the system detects that the battery current is ≤, it will delay 3 hours and switch to floating charge. If the total equalization time reaches the set equalization time during the delay of 3 hours, it will also be transferred to floating charging immediately.

   6. If an alarm or failure occurs in the DC power supply system during operation, the power supply should be cut off first, and the power supply should be restored after handling, otherwise an accident may occur.

  7. In the event of AC power failure, the battery discharge provides DC power supply system and other detection and monitoring module power supplies, and at the same time supplies power to the control bus and the combined bus load.

   8. When the battery is discharged, the voltage drops to the lower limit of the combined bus voltage, and the monitoring will indicate that the battery is under-voltage. At this time, all loads should be disconnected to avoid over-discharge of the battery. The service life of the battery or battery pack may also cause damage to the battery pack.
