The intelligent controller, through overcharge protection, transfers the electrical energy from the solar panels to the storage battery for storage.

Role of Solar Storage Batteries:

A photovoltaic off-grid power generation system uses the photoelectric effect principle to convert solar energy into electrical energy. It typically consists of solar panels, a controller, a battery pack, and a DC/AC inverter.

  • The solar panels convert solar energy into electrical energy to power the load or charge the battery pack.

  • The controller protects the battery pack during charging and discharging.

  • The battery pack stores electrical energy.

  • The inverter converts direct current into alternating current.

At night or on cloudy and rainy days when the solar panels cannot work, the battery pack supplies power to the load.

The working mode of the battery can be divided into cycle use and float use. Frequent charge and discharge states constitute cycle use; staying in a charged state constitutes float use, compensating for capacity loss due to self-discharge.
