INTRODUCTION

Invented in 1859, lead-acid batteries are one of the earliest types of rechargeable batteries. They are the most widely used rechargeable battery.A lead-acid battery consists of a number of cells. Each cell has positive and negative plates, separators and electrolyte, all contained in a battery container. Cells are densely packed with alternating lead and lead oxide sheets.

There are two main types of lead-acid batteries: Flooded (or wet) Cells and Maintenance Free Sealed Lead Acid Batteries (SLA). Sealed Lead Acid Batteries are also referred to as Valve-regulated lead–acid (VRLA ) batteries.

MAIN APPLICATIONS

Most of the world's lead–acid batteries are automobile starting, lighting, and ignition (SLI) batteries, with an estimated 320 million units shipped in 1999.In 1992 about 3 million tons of lead were used in the manufacture of batteries.

Valve-regulated lead–acid (VRLA ) batteries cannot spill their electrolyte. They are used in back-up power supplies for alarm and smaller computer systems (particularly in uninterruptible power supplies, UPS) and for electric scooters, electric wheelchairs, electrified bicycles, marine applications, electric vehicles or micro hybrid vehicles, motorcycles and Wind, solar ,renewable energy storage system.

GENERAL PURPOSE  VRLA  BATTERY

The General Purpose battery is the most versatile of the four and is reliable for backup or cycling. Power Kingdom general purpose VRLA batteries include PS(0.8AH to 28 AH) , PK(33AH to250AH) & PL(100AH to3000AH) series. They are used in such fire and security systems, UPS battery backups, solar wind renewable energy system ,household mechanisms as sump pumps and riding toys. Starter batteries for automotive use are considered general purpose, too.They provide the initial power needed to start the engine, and are then recharged during driving.

DEEP CYCLE AGM BATTERY

The Power Kingdom deep cycle AGM batteries provide enhanced performane and brilliant reliability in long period cycling use. Term deep cycle refers to the fact that they can be discharged down to as low as 20% of a full charge. The deep cycle AGM battery series offer an exceptionally long cycle life Compared to standard AGM making them the ideal batteries for tour car, forlift, golf car, cropper, electric car, wheelchair and mobility scooters, industrial floor scrubbers, RVs, and trolling motors for fishing boats or other marine applications, solar power and other renewable energy applications. The life of this type of battery, or the number of cycles, depends on the average depth of discharge. If the discharge is too small or very deep, the battery will not last as long as one with an average depth of discharge around 50%.

AGM GEL BATTERY

Compared to general purpose battery series, AGM Gel series battery is filled with gel not Sulfuric, AGM gel battery has wider operating temperature (-20℃-50℃）and more stable performance at lower/higher temperature. Power Kingdom AGM Gel battery can be used for standby power supplies, such as UPS & EPS, Automatic door system, Power tools, Telecommunications, Railway systems, solar power, wind power system.

HIGH RATE VRLA BATTERY

Power Kingdom high rate series VRLA batteries provides constant power backup that UPS system and critical backup applications require.The high rate series VRLA batteries have been designed specifically for UPS system, startup standby power supply system, electric tool. They have a long lifespan and need little maintenance, making them ideal for data centers, emergency lighting or server banks.

FRONT TERMINAL  VRLA BATTERY

The additional function of the easy-to-use front terminal connector ensures that it is easy to install and maintain when installed in the battery cabinet. Utilizing a special thick plate design for demand of long life.Power Kingdom front terminal series VRLA battery have been designed to be used in UPS system and telecom equipment.
