Q : what is AGM battery
A : The newer type of sealed non-spillable maintenance free valve regulated battery uses "Absorbed Glass Mats", or AGM separators between the plates. This is a very fine fiber Boron-Silicate glass mat. These type of batteries have all the advantages of gelled, but can take much more abuse. These are also called "starved electrolyte. Just like the Gel batteries, the AGM Battery will not leak acid if broken.
Q : what is Gel battery
A : A gel battery design is typically a modification of the standard lead acid automotive or marine battery. A gelling agent is added to the electrolyte to reduce movement inside the battery case. Many gel batteries also use one way valves in place of open vents, this helps the normal internal gasses to recombine back into water in the battery, reducing gassing. "Gel Cell" batteries are non-spillable even if they are broken. Gel cells must be charged at a lower voltage (C/20) than flooded or AGM to prevent excess gas from damaging the cells. Fast charging them on a conventional automotive charger may be permanently damage a Gel Battery.
Q : What is a gel cell battery or sealed lead acid battery?
A : Gel cell or sealed lead acid batteries have basically the same chemistry as wet or flooded cell batteries. The batteries' electrolyte is in a gelatin form and is absorbed into the plates. The battery is then sealed with epoxy. These batteries may be used in any position. They are exceptionally leak resistant. Applications include UPS devices, emergency lights, and wheelchairs. These batteries contain 2 volts per cell with common voltages of 4, 6, and 12 volt.
Q: If a battery fails, what will be the indications?
A: 1.Lower performance
2.Low voltage
3.Cannot charge/recharge
4.Swelled container
5.Acid corrosion
Q : How can you tell if a battery is good or bad?
A : You should first check the battery for defects such as a broken circuit, a short, or a broken container. If an outward problem is not apparent, then you will have to check the battery's capacity using known measuring techniques to ascertain the problem.
Q : Why "zero voltage" might happen?
A : Zero voltage means there is a broken circuit. There could be several reasons for a zero voltage state.
1.There could be a broken electrode column
2.Welding defects of the partition
3.Welding defects of the terminal
Q : How about your delivery time uauslly ?
A : 7-10 days for common model battery , 15-20 days for the other special battery.
Q : What is your warranty time for the car battery ?
A : We have 1 year, 2 years , 3 years warranty time for different batteries based on different target markrt .
