SINCE 1957

In the past 60+ years, Yuguang Group has made continuous efforts to strengthen the scientific research and innovation capabilities and has maintained the leading position in the green smelting and environmental protection industry. We have grown from a small-sized state-owned company to a large-sized group that is the leader in the domestic lead and zinc industry and is in possession of 30 subsidiaries (including 1 listed company). As the largest lead smelting company in the world, we are a Top 500 Enterprises of China, a Top 500 Manufacturers of China, and a Fortune 500 List of Chinese Companies. To give play to our advantages in lead resources, technology, and capital, and extend the supply chain, we established Shenzhen Power Kingdom Co., Ltd. which dedicates itself to the business of lead acid storage battery in 2002. In the coming days, Power Kingdom would seek for joint growth with domestic and foreign partners based on the “Insisting on the management concept of Honesty & credit, Mutual Benefits” business policy.

History

1957

The predecessor called Jiyuan Comprehensive Refinery was established.

1968

The electrolytic lead production line was put into regular operation.

1982

“Yuguang” brand was registered.

1997

Henan Yuguang Gold & Lead Group Co., Ltd. was founded.

1998

Yuguang passed the ISO 9002 international quality certification.

1999

The Yuguang brand electrolyzed lead was registered on London Metal Exchange.

2000

The Postdoctoral Scientific Research Workstation was allowed by the national Ministry of Personnel for the establishment.

2002

“Yuguang Gold & Lead” shares were issued at the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

2005

Yuguang was titled the “National Circular Economy Experimental Unit” (the 1st list) which was organized by 6 national ministries such as the National Development and Reform Commission.
